Dual xloc bleed manuals#
I can’t find any manuals from Rockshox that would give the info needed to take this part of the rear shock apart to investigate I’ve found servicing on everything but this. This leads me to believe there is something going on in the rear shock. I pulled the actuator out of the lefty to see if that had any effect on it and it didn’t. Now I am back to the button can’t be pressed and the rear shock is locked. So, I tighten the line to the fork and bleed the system. I found a fitting loose on the hose going to the lefty which explains why messing with the fork allowed the button to be moveable evidently the loose line relieved a hydraulic lock on the remote. I get the bike together and find the rear shock is locked and the lefty won’t lock.Īfter some research I find that the rear shock works in reverse logic meaning if you don’t have proper fluid in the Xloc remote it won’t unlock.

When I pulled the bike out of the box the button was locked so I manipulated the lefty damping adjust and the button started moving.I thought the problem was solved. I bought a 2016 NOS Cannondale Habit and it has the dual Xloc Lefty and Monarch XX both lock by pressing 1 button. So I have experience working on stuff like this. A little about myself, I have experience as a bike mechanic and am a maintenance technician on flight simulators. So, here is the story of what I am calling my ebay mistake at this point.
